Last updated March 2026
1. Introduction
This Seller Agreement ("Agreement") governs your listing and sale of tickets on the tixticks.com platform, operated by WHY NOT SPORT FZCO, a company registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates.
By listing tickets for sale on Tixticks you agree to be bound by this Agreement in addition to the general Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility & Verification
To sell tickets you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement.
You are required to verify your identity (KYC). This involves providing a government-issued identity document (passport or national ID), your country of residence and country of citizenship, your tax identification number, proof of ticket ownership (such as an original order confirmation), and a valid payment method.
This information is processed for identity verification, anti-money-laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance, and is retained as described in our Privacy Policy. We may screen applications against prohibited countries and sanctions lists.
We reserve the right to approve, reject, or suspend seller accounts at our sole discretion, including where verification is incomplete or eligibility requirements are not met.
3. Listing Tickets
By listing a ticket you confirm that you are the rightful owner and have the legal right to sell it.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the ticket, including event name, date, venue, seating details, and delivery method.
You must not list counterfeit, duplicated, or unauthorised tickets. Doing so may result in immediate account termination and referral for legal action.
4. Pricing & Fees
You are responsible for setting the sale price of your tickets. Tixticks charges a service fee or commission on each successful transaction, which is deducted from your payout.
The applicable commission rate will be clearly displayed before you confirm a listing.
5. Delivery Obligations
You agree to deliver the sold tickets to the buyer within the specified timeframe and via the agreed delivery method (electronic or physical).
Failure to deliver valid tickets may result in order cancellation, a full refund to the buyer at your expense, and suspension or permanent termination of your seller account.
6. Cancellations & Invalid Tickets
If the event is cancelled and the organiser authorises refunds, you may be required to refund the buyer accordingly.
If a ticket is found to be invalid, duplicated, or undelivered, you may be held financially responsible and subject to penalties including loss of payout, chargeback liability, and account suspension.
7. Payments & Payouts
Payments for completed sales are processed after the event date or upon confirmation of successful delivery, depending on the transaction type.
Funds are transferred to your designated bank account after deducting applicable fees. Payout timelines are provided in your seller dashboard.
8. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes applicable to your ticket sales, including VAT or other local duties.
Tixticks does not provide tax advice and does not withhold taxes on your behalf unless required by law.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not engage in any activity that violates applicable laws, infringes intellectual property, or undermines the trust and integrity of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Listing fraudulent or counterfeit tickets
- Artificially manipulating prices or market conditions
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules
- Providing false or misleading information
10. Limitation of Liability
Tixticks is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from your misuse of the platform or violations of this Agreement. Our liability is limited to the amount of commission collected on the relevant transaction.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your seller account at any time for breach of this Agreement, or if we suspect fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.
You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting support@tixticks.com.
